Courchevel, strictly kosher

What we organise in Courchevel
- A chalet or apartment with a private chef. Our kosher team based in the Alps makes the kitchen kosher and the chef cooks on site. Every meal of the week is taken care of.
- Meals delivered in the resort. Hot meals brought to your apartment or hotel in Courchevel 1850 and the villages, for a family or a group, with notice.
- Shabbat before candle lighting. Shabbat meals, challot and wine set on Friday before candle lighting. Nothing is delivered on Shabbat.
- The holidays. Hanukkah, Purim, Pesach: tell us which holiday falls in your week.
- A minyan and a Sefer Torah. A Chabad service is published in Courchevel 1850 in winter (see below). We add a minyan and a Sefer Torah for your dates when the families present call for it.
- A tailor-made stay, A to Z. Chalet, chef or delivered meals, transfers, Shabbat, the holidays, a minyan: one request, one quote. Families and groups from abroad are our core; for a very small group asking for one delivery only, say so and we tell you what is feasible.
Strictly kosher. Our team cooks under the Chabad network of the Alps: ask for the supervision details in writing with your quote.
Kosher in Courchevel: what is published
- Chabad in winter. Rabbi Daniel Belaïch holds services at the Hôtel Le Mont Charvin, 389 rue des Tovets, 73120 Courchevel, during the winter season. He writes that he helps with kosher needs, wine and challot for Shabbat. Sources: synalpes.wordpress.com and jtropez.com, read 7 October 2026. Season dates not published.
- Seasonal kosher programs. The Jewish press (JTA) reports that a tour agency advertises kosherized ski hotels in Courchevel, and skikosher.com lists a seasonal program for the resort. A kosherized hotel is a regular hotel made kosher for a week or two. Hotel names and dates change each season.
- Private chefs. Agencies advertise glatt kosher private chefs in Courchevel. Supervision is not stated on their pages.
- Shop or restaurant. No kosher shop and no kosher restaurant published in the resort.
Supervision is rarely published. Ask before you book, and ask for it in writing.
Minyan and Shabbat in Courchevel
A Chabad service is published at the Hôtel Le Mont Charvin in winter. Write to the rabbi before you travel, since the dates are not published. For a minyan in your chalet or hotel: a minyan depends on how many families are in the resort that week. Give us your dates and we group them, with a Sefer Torah.
Shabbat candle-lighting times for Courchevel are on Hebcal; check the week you travel.
