Terms of booking
short, in plain words
These are the terms that apply when you book a tour with Mishpacha Tours. They are short because the deal is simple: one price for your group, confirmed in writing, cancellable free of charge until 24 hours before.
- Prices per group
- Free cancellation 24h
- Guiding only

What we sell
Guided tours in Lyon and its region, in English, French or Spanish, led by a licensed guide-conférencier. We sell guiding only. Museum and memorial entries, transport, meals and accommodation are not included unless the written confirmation says so, and we tell you the amounts before you book.
Prices and payment
- One price per group, shown on each tour page, for one to four people on the city and Memory tours, one to five on the Stopover, with a supplement per extra person up to ten. The Izieu day is quoted on request.
- Confirmation in writing. A booking exists when we have confirmed date, start time, meeting point and price by WhatsApp or email, and you have agreed.
- Payment as stated in the confirmation. Professional buyers (agencies, hotels) receive an invoice.
- Security escort on request, priced separately on quote, never included in a tour price.
Cancellation and changes
- By you: free of charge up to 24 hours before the start time, by message. Later cancellations and no-shows are due in full.
- By us: if we must cancel (illness, a site closed on the day, a security decision), we offer another date or a full refund of what you paid us. Entries or transport you booked with third parties are not covered.
- Shabbat and holidays: we never run tours on Saturday or on Jewish holidays, and we do not confirm dates that fall on them.
- Sites: access to the Grande Synagogue and to Neveh Shalom depends on the opening hours and security clearance of the day. If entry is refused, the tour goes on outside and the price does not change.
Your responsibilities
Be at the meeting point at the agreed time; a late start shortens the tour. Children stay under their parents' supervision. Tell us about mobility needs when you book so we can adapt the route.
Law
French law applies. Any dispute goes first to an amicable settlement, then to the competent court in Lyon. Business details: Mishpacha Tours, sole trader, Lyon, France, contact@mishpachatours.com.
