Lyon has seven Chabad houses, two large historic synagogues and 25 neighbourhood minyanim, most of them in Villeurbanne. For prayer, a Shabbat meal or any question on the ground, start with a Chabad house: they welcome travellers every day. Visitors are welcome at prayer everywhere: arrive a few minutes early, have your ID with you, and expect a security check at the door, as in every synagogue in France today. For a minyan near your hotel, message us.
